Have Some Questions About Your Order?

What's the whole process from beginning to end?

Here's the whole process:

  1. You order your Memory Box.
  2. We email you an order confirmation and Welcome Guide.
  3. The Memory Box arrives on your doorstep, 1 to 3 days after you order.
  4. You put in all the old media you wish to have digitised. This can include video tapes, audio tapes and reels, film reels, slides, negatives, and prints. There are stickers in the box and a "Name-It Sheet", so you can tell us what to call the digital copy of each media item.
  5. When you're ready, our secure courier collects the Memory Box, or you can drop it off at one of 25,000 drop off locations.
  6. We receive your Memory Box at the lab, where we inspect each item. Any item in need of cleaning or repair is passed to our team of restoration experts, who sort them out at no extra cost to you.
  7. Once the items are restored, the digitisation team do their magic. If any of your items turn out to be blank, you'll be refunded for them.
  8. Once digitised, your digital memories go through Quality Control to make sure the transfer is top quality. They're then uploaded to your complimentary Cloud album, and any memory sticks or DVDs you've chosen to add to your order.
  9. We return your Memory Box with your old media and your new digital memories.
  10. You can now enjoy your memories on any digital device, such as smartphone, tablet, computer and smart TV! You can now easily enjoy and share with them people you love. Relive the most precious memories of your life at the touch of a button.

1. Cloud album - this is included with every order. It makes it easy to share your memories with your important people, wherever they are in the world.

2. Premium USB – This beautiful crystalline memory stick and gift box set is the most popular choice for presents. It's the perfect package for the gift of precious memories.

3. Classic USB – this sturdy steel memory stick is perfect for creating a physical backup of your most important family memories.

4. DVDs – A straightforward choice for those with a DVD player.

How do you keep my media safe?

We've invested thousands of hours and hundreds of thousands of pounds into becoming the safest digitisers in Europe.

Here's how we've done it:

1. We designed the Memory Box to be lightweight yet crush-proof, so that your media is guaranteed to be safe in transit. We've never had a single item become damaged in our care.

2. We use the safest courier service possible. It's the same special branch of DPD that AQA and Edexcel use to transport sealed A-level and university papers to their headquarters as well as the same courier who transport passports. It's safe to say we've never had a single item become lost in our care.

3. We use a custom QR-code system to individually track every item throughout our facility.

I'm not sure what's on my media. Should I still put them in my Memory Box?

You might not know if your item is blank or not. If it turns out to be blank, we will refund you for that item.

Can you digitise media in bad condition?

Most of the time we can digitise media in bad condition.

We inspect all media upon its arrival at our lab. If it's in bad condition, it goes to our restoration team. They will get it ready it for digitisation at no extra charge.

In the rare instances where we cannot get a transfer, you will simply be refunded those items.

How long do I wait?

Standard processing:

  • For up to date typical turnaround times, please the project calculator on the Prices page.
  • All processing includes thorough cleaning and restoration which takes up the most time.
  • Each item receives individual attention and quality control.

Need it sooner? Choose rush processing at checkout:

  • Priority handling in 1-2 weeks
  • Same professional quality and care
  • Perfect for special occasions or gifts

Processing time depends on:

  • Number of items
  • Condition of media (some may need more restoration)
  • Current lab capacity

We'll keep you updated throughout the process, and you can track your items journey using our Status Tracking system.

Remember: Quality restoration takes time – we never rush the careful handling that your precious memories deserve.

Can I watch on TV as well?

Yes. If you have a Smart TV, it's simple to plug your USB straight in to the TV, or login to your Cloud album.

If you have a TV with an HMDI port, you can connect your desktop or laptop computer to it via an HDMI cable.
